Tonsilitis

I recently had a bout of tonsil problems- and I think they're back again (the problems).

I feel like I've swallowed a whole hive of bees -.-

ANYWAY, this has got me thinking about hospitals, which makes me think of boredom, which makes me think of books. Any good book suggestions to read if I need to go to the hospital?

Stories that deserve recognition

I'm on this site called Wattpad where I post all of my stories (unedited). On Wattpad, there are sooo many people that have amazing books that people need to know about. Here are a few people who have really gained my respect in the last year:

Like you mean it- by trishthewriter

Never have I ever- by farawayfromnowhere

Dark Summer- by LizzyFord (she also has books on Amazon)

Actions speak louder than words- by wintersgirl

and anything written by ColmPatrick, DistantDreamer, TheOrangutan, and mebby88

So, check them out for some pretty great stories.

First post

So, I'm finally on the blogging train. I feel so author-y. Yes, I know that's not a word. Shut up...this is my blog. *Sticks tongue out*

Okay, so what is this first post about you ask? Or maybe you didn't- maybe I'm like, the only person reading my own posts...oh well...continuing on!

This first post is about my family. I have a very strange family, let me tell you, and we have some pretty exciting adventures. One time, my cousin Rebecca and I were really bored, so we decided to stuff my cat Stella into a pair of my leggings, creating a sausage cat. We laughed and took pictures, but for the dignity of Stella I shall not post them, for dignity is all a cat at the age of 15 has.

I love my family with all of my heart, no matter what. They are always there for me, so this post is dedicated to them. Now- here's a couple more funny stories about my family.

I was six or seven, old enough to know that when you're in the movie theatre, you shut the heck up and listen. But this time was different. My mother and aunty Carol were bawling their eyes out throughout the whole movie (My dog Skip) and I just had no clue what the heck they were crying about. So I asked them until they told me it was because it was a sad movie, and to please shut the heck up.

I did.

At the end of the movie, we skipped happily out of the theatre, arm in arm the three of us, until- Bang! I smacked into a huge poll in the middle of the doorframe, since I was in the middle, and I promptly began to cry. Now, my mother is a sarcastic woman, but she loves me, so she asked, "Why are you crying?!?"

Her and my aunt tried to hold in their laughs as best as they could, but it was pretty funny. I think so now too- but not then!

Another time, my dad and I were in the hospital's emergency room, as I was very sick. I was laying my head on his shoulder, just sitting quietly, when all we heard was this loud moan. We turned our heads to see where it was coming from, and saw an old man being pushed in a weelchair. Now, I know what you're thinking- who laughs at an old man? If you'd heard the sound he was making, you'd laugh too! He made that sound as he was pushed from one side of the waitingroom to the other, not stopping to take a breath or anything. It was something out of a comedy movie, I swear.

I had to fake a caughing fit because I was laughing so hard, and my dad was holding my face into his sweater to help muffle the laughs. As soon as they dissappeared from sight, I burst out into a fit of giggles, and my father was smiling with me. The rest of the people in the waitingroom hadn't even been paying attention and thought I was nuts.

So there it is. I'll post more about my family when I feel like it, but for now I'm done!
