Books I'm currently enjoying

So, it's been a while- sorry about that. I've been busy with school, plus, nobody reads this blog anyway, so no big deal. Just my lack of commitment...no, but seriously, I feel crappy that I didn't update sooner, because this is supposed to be serious stuff right here! But oh well. C'est la vie!

So, on Wattpad, the main site I post my books on and read books posted by other people like myself, has some pretty great books on there!

One in particular, is called Finvarra's Circus, by DistantDreamer, or her real name, Monica Sanz (look her up on Goodreads, or her Facebook page).

It is a great story, and I just adore it, and I am so darned happy every time she updates.

Here is the author's synopsis: "Born with a damaged heart, Leanna Weston has lived a sheltered life with little chance at adventure. When she hears that Finvarra’s Circus is coming to her small town, she sneaks off to witness the magic first hand, sure that this is her only chance at experiencing true magic—even if the frightening rumors about the heartless Ringmaster, Finvarra, are true. Caught by Finvarra, Leanna is given one chance at survival: she must join the circus. As slowly she becomes part of the strange family, Leanna learns that there is more than magic to this circus, but an ancient curse that has tied Finvarra's life to its rings. If the circus fails, he dies. Leanna vows to save the circus, but when a ruthless enemy emerges, set on destroying it and Finvarra, will Leanna be able to save them both, or will her broken heart fail her just when she needs it most?"

That's all I'm going to give away, as it's not my story to tell! Just know that there is magic, and love, and heartache...and did I mention magic? Really, I can't get enough of this story!!!

An other book I am in love with right now, is Finding Love in a Coffee Shop. It is by XxSkater2Girl16xX, and is pretty great. It's so darned cute at times, while at the same time being filled with suspense!

Here is the author synopsis: "Katie Holmes is a caffiene addict. Between college, and taking care of her brother, it's acceptable. Though, it doesn't help that the cafe down the street is full of handsome baristas, including one William Cerak in particular who has a mysterious scar on his wrist."

And lastly, Autumn Storm, the sequal to Dark Summer. I love the Witchling trilogy...it's brilliant!!! Honestly, it's my fave paranormal YA on Wattpad- ever.

Here is the author's synopsis: "A girl with no memory, hidden in plain sight. A boy with no hope, freefalling into Darkness.

Autumn doesn’t know why she remembers a boarding school she’s never visited, or why her reflection isn’t always … hers. There’s another girl in the mirror, a dark-haired ghost that emerges one night to guide her to a cliff near the school. Only Autumn can’t remember what happened there and why it’s so important. Beck’s gentle touch soothes her distress while Decker’s every look sets her body on fire. Caught between the twins, she struggles to understand her instincts and magick while working through the pain caused by a mysterious car accident that left her disabled, barely able to walk.

Unable to recover from Summer’s death, Decker slowly surrenders to the Dark. He can’t live with the pain, and those around him keep Autumn’s secret too well. The guilt he feels when he falls for her – and betrays Summer’s memory – drives him farther from the Light, until he loses control and begins taking the souls of Light witchlings. As the protector of Light, Beck must choose between confronting his twin and watching more witchlings suffer. Decker realizes Beck has come between more than him and the witchlings. With neither of them willing to let Autumn go, they turn on each other.

Only one of them knows the truth. Only one of them will walk away, unless Autumn can find a way to save them both."

One choice. One soul. One price."

"A girl with a broken past and a dark secret. A boy with a twisted future and no second chances. When they meet, it just might cost them their souls.

Sixteen-year-old Summer doesn’t expect the new boarding school to be any different than the rest: a temporary stay where everyone will turn against her after a few weeks. Until she meets the rest of the students at this special school and realizes she’s not the only one with magic in her blood. Accustomed to the concrete jungle of LA, she gets lost one night in the forests of the Rocky Mountains and meets Decker, the boy who will become the Master of Night and Fire on his eighteenth birthday. Their connection is instant and dangerous, for both will be forced to choose between Light and Dark, life and death, love – and their souls." This is for Dark Summer
